Lecture: ‘Type Kickstart – what fonts can do and how you can do fonts’
In this fun lecture, Glyphs member Rainer Scheichelbauer explains why now is a better time than ever before to get started in type design, shows ways to get started, and a few bits and pieces what modern fonts can do.

Workshop: ‘My First Variable Font’
In the morning session, we will draw a bunch of Latin letters, learn how to reuse existing shapes for building more letters. In the afternoon, we will make them variable and animate them in a web browser. At the end, we will start a color variable font, and animate it in a web browser as well.
Workshop participants receive an extended trial license and can purchase their own full license at a discount.
