Workshop: My First Two Fonts

10:00–19:00 including breaks
Morning session: handwriting font
Turn your handwriting into a font, work with strokes, composites and caps, add alternates and an OpenType feature to make your font look more authentic. Approx 10:00–13:00.
Afternoon session: geometric sans
Build your own Latin font, learn béziers, systematic spacing, composites, add a weight axis and interpolate a font family from Light to Extrabold. Approx 14:00–19:00.
