Ljubljana Workshops 2018
Three days of Glyphs at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljulbjana, Slovenia. Public lecture and three-day workshop. As always, participants can purchase a personal full license at a discount.
Tipografska delavnica Glyphs
Thursday: Basics and Workflow. No prior knowledge of type design required. In a quick rundown, you will see a sample font production workflow, from sketching, drawing and manipulating paths, creating compounds and font testing.
Friday: Advanced Techniques. Boost your efficiency with corner components, smart components, exit/entry anchors. Some experience in Glyphs expected (visiting the Thursday sessions will do).
Saturday: Variable Fonts in Glyphs. Create an OTVar font project from the ground up, use it in Illustrator and InDesign, and animate it in a web browser.
