This is a series of one-and-a-half to two-hour workshops over a week, during which participants will learn the stages of creating a variable font in GlyphsApp and the opportunities that this format offers.
Variable Font Online Week
Learn how to create Variable Fonts with Glyphs. Together, we will make a few letters, export them, and animate a glyph in a web browser. You'll learn how to create a variable font; prepare outlines for glyph variations; work with a brace and braked layers; trace down and fix errors; create color variable font; export and test in Adobe Illustrator / Indesign / Photoshop and web browsers; animate a glyph in a web browser.
