Type Design: An Introduction to Glyphs
Join Tiffany Prater and Thomas Jockin on a Saturday afternoon to learn the basics of designing and generating a font with the font-design software Glyphs (MAC only). In the first hour, learn the basics of drawing a font, generating a font, and previewing it on Adobe InDesign. At the end of the class, you will have a deep appreciation about how fonts are made and perhaps an addiction to type.
No prior experience is required in font design, but some experience with Bézier-based vector drawing tools is handy. LIMITED SEATING ONLY—participants must register through Eventbrite to get the Zoom link.
