Glyphs at BITS 2019
The only Typographic & Type Design Festival in South East Asia comes to the beautiful hillside city of Chiang Mai. Presented by TAB+TAC and Cadson Demak. Where Type meets Lanna Style hospitality. Design, Education, Technology plus Funs all in one package.

Workshop: Variable Pixel Fonts with Glyphs
11 October 2019
Discover Glyphs by building your own pixel font! Then, we will add variable axes to the pixel shape, and export a variable font. We will then proceed to animate your pixel font in a web browser. First, in a font test page, then, optionally, i.e. if you are geeky enough to type some CSS code, in a CodePen document.

Workshop: Responsive icons with Variable Font technology

Variable fonts are on their way to become the vector graphic format of the future. In this workshop, learn how to create an icon in Glyphs, add a morphing axis to it, and export it as a variable font. Subsequently, learn how to trigger icon animation in simple CSS and HTML.
