Participants receive an extended trial license and can purchase their own full license at a discount.

Workshop Day 1: Building variable fonts

Day 1. Building variable fonts

Interpolation: set up multiple masters, build your font family
Advanced creation techniques: advanced tools for a smooth workflow, finding and avoiding interpolation mistakes
Testing: build, test and improve your OTVAR

Day 2. Python intro

Coding basics: variables, loops, if-then clauses
Series of mini tasks within Glyphs: test your paths, change font info, move and add shapes
